Where can I apply without exams? Do I need the NMT?

Many Czech universities admit students without entrance exams — they only evaluate documents (certificate, portfolio, sometimes a motivation letter). But top fields — medicine, law, prestigious Charles University programs — almost always require entrance exams. The NMT (Ukrainian national multi-subject test) is not used by Czech universities; it is a Ukrainian assessment system and has no bearing on Czech admissions. We match the program to each applicant: in some cases documents are enough, in others exam preparation is needed — and we provide it.

Can I study in English in Europe?

Yes — in Czechia there are dozens of English-taught programs, from bachelor's degrees to medicine. But there are two sides: studying in English is almost always paid (unlike Czech-taught programs at public universities, which are often free), and the cost can be significant. We help you assess what is better in your situation — learning Czech and applying for free, or going straight to an English program.

Are there age limits for university admission?

There is no formal upper age limit — people enter Czech universities at 25 and at 35. The only real requirement is completed secondary education (for bachelor's) or a relevant degree (for master's). So “too late” does not apply to Czechia.

What Czech language level do I need for a public university?

Accepted Answer

Most Czech-taught programs require at least B2. For some competitive fields (medicine, dentistry) universities expect a solid B2–C1, because you will study in Czech from day one — lectures, exams, and communication with professors. We plan language preparation from 8 months to a year, depending on your starting level.

Where will I live?

There are three main options: student dormitories (the most budget-friendly; the university allocates places), rented apartments (more expensive, but more freedom), and shared housing with other students.
